Material possessions can bring about instant gratification but she cares little for them.

Her most memorable present is not one of a monogrammed luxury good but an amateurish custom-made candle with a horrific colour scheme. The giver was her good friend. He had amalgamated candles of varying colours to form a single candy-coloured candle. It required patience and was time-consuming. In the process, the giver flamed his finger as well. Another gift which she holds dear is a rag doll that was sewn by her gal pal.

When the glitter fades, what she really wants is a little time, attention, affection, reassurance, care & concern.
