It has been a while, R, since October 2006, after which we ceased to be on speaking terms. Despite your repeated attempts, I'd ignored your calls and messages.

I've missed the gibberish with you, having dinner with you at the last minute, sharing nuggets of ourselves over coffee, exchanging witty barbs and trusting you with my Secret(s).

Indeed, I have missed your company & friendship.
I was just too proud to acknowledge it.
