Do You Like Haikus?
Sometimes, a little silliness just makes you smile. =)
Typically, an English haiku combines form, content, and language succinctly by adopting a 5-7-5 form.
It consists of 3 lines and a total of 17 syllables :
The first line is made up of 5 syllables,
The second line has 7,
And the final line has 5 syllables.
A constant fave haiku poet of mine is Ryusui.
- In all this still cool
is the moon also sleeping?
There too, in the pool? - A lost child crying
Stumbling over the dark fields.
Catching fireflies.
