#3: Hanging out with Friend El.
We've been attending Sunday School in the same church since 1987,
were in Anglican High & Temasek JC
and our families gathered together frequently for parties and such
but somehow, it took us 20+ years to hang out together!
It's never too late to have fun!
[Pssst...Friend El was a former Director at the Ministry of Finance
but she's really humble!]

#4: Another newfound expat chum, Pretty Mongolian C and us Peranakan gals. =p

#5: Banner screaming in the background.

#6: Myriad of lovely lights.

#7: Definitely the Music!
After 21 years, they were FINALLY in Singapore for the first time! *shriek*

#8: The unpredictable antics of BJ. Out of the blue, he stopped playing and lay on the stage before belting random hits like Hey Jude, Love Me Tender, etc while inciting the audience to sing along. Bizarre but awesome as the audience gamely chanted, "Na....Na na na na na na! Na na na na! Hey Jude!"

#9: Pyrotechnics!

#10: The generous douse of confetti. The entire standing area was drenched in confetti. We could hardly make out the stage. Although this was a conventional method of signalling the finale, the avid concert-goer in me had yet to witness such a shower at other concerts! =)
